Fort Dearborn Partners ("FDP") is pleased to announce the successful sale of Aztalan Engineering, Inc. ("Aztalan Engineering" or the "Company") to Chandler Industries, a business unit of BTX Precision (a portfolio company of L Squared Capital Partners). The transaction closed on April 30, 2026.

Headquartered in Lake Mills, Wisconsin, Aztalan Engineering is a precision contract manufacturer serving quality-critical end markets including medical devices, aerospace, defense, energy, and robotics. The Company offers a comprehensive suite of manufacturing capabilities, including CNC milling, turning, and Swiss turning, complemented by soldering, brazing, cleaning, assembly, and CMM inspection, positioning it as a trusted, single-source partner for complex, tight-tolerance components.

FDP's sell-side process attracted significant interest from a broad universe of strategic and financial acquirers, reflecting Aztalan's differentiated technical capabilities and its established reputation in the medical device sector. Following a competitive process, Chandler Industries was selected as the best partner to accelerate Aztalan's growth by expanding its capabilities, customer base, and reaching across its core end markets as part of the Chandler Industries platform.

FDP served as exclusive financial advisor to Aztalan Engineering and its ESOP trustee. The team worked closely with the Board of Directors, ESOP Trustee, and legal counsel to manage the structural complexities of an ESOP asset sale and deliver a seamless transaction for all stakeholders.
