Daniel is the newest member of the growing Fort Dearborn team. Daniel's prior experience provides an excellent skillset for serving FDP's diverse client base.
Daniel comes to FDP from Berlin Packaging where he was a Senior Accountant. He was primarily involved in inventory management and cost accounting, and assisted Berlin's business units across the US with improving inventory turnover, forecasting for reserves, and cost accounting adjustments. He also led the daily sales reporting effort for the US.
Berfore Berlin Packaging, Daniel was a Senior Associate at RSM US, LLP, assisting middle-market clients in the Manufacturing and Distribution sector. Working closed with these clients, Daniel created a strong rapport while liasing between the client and RSM management. He was involved in engagement planning, drafting financial statements, and implementing new GAAP adoptions such as ASC 606 and ASC 842. Daniel's leadership skills are evidenced by his promotion to In-Charge after only one year at the firm, where he managed the work of assocaites and interns.
Daniel is an analytical thinker with stron communication skills, works well in a fast-paced environment, and provides insightful conclustions and observations on complicated matters.
Outside of work, Daniel enjoys trying new restaurants around Chicago with family and friends, working out, and watching the Chicago Cubs.
