Monica has been with Fort Dearborn for over 7 years.  During that time, Monica has managed a variety of turnaround projects and served as interim controller for a $40 million cheese manufacturer.  Monica has built financial and 13-week cash flow forecasts, performed financial analysis, and developed and implemented profit improvement plans. 

Monica has worked with healthy companies, rapidly growing companies, financially distressed companies that have encountered liquidity issues, and companies that have sufferred from fraud and/or accounting errors.  She has worked with middle market clients with revenues between $50M and $500M.  

Experience

Monica began her career in Public Accounting, working as a Senior Accountant at Ryan & Wetmore, PC.  During her time there, Monica gained experience working on both assurance and tax engagements.  She helped improve client accounting processes and increased client efficiency when performing monthly closes.
